Monday 10th May – Keevil Airfield nr Trowbridge - £109
A superb layout with unlimited track time means a good day out is guaranteed. I will be using this event as a final shake down test for representing Marlin at the Guild of Motor Endurance event below. Friday 21st May – Guild of Motor Endurance – Mallory Park - £560/team
Will you be there to support Team 5EXi at this superb event or will you be driving yourself? John Dry and I, along with our co-drivers, are forming team 5EXi in this 6 hour endurance event. Sat 24th July – Colerne Airfield nr Bath - £125
We return to what is probably the best airfield circuit in the UK. Having driven here many times before it is a superb smooth surface which has the feel of a full size race circuit. Sat 11th Sept – Marlin Track Day at Pembrey - £169 with free instruction - For details about this great track see opur news page 
Your chance to drive on this superb circuit where all of the top F3 and British Touring Car teams test and race. A very rewarding circuit to drive quickly, with plenty of fast corners especially on the back straight. This event will be the official Marlin Track day in 2010 and a special deal with Motorsport Events ensures a free 20 minute instruction session with an ARDS qualified instructor. Thurs Evening 18th Nov – Karting, The Raceway, Bristol - £35 per driver
Although your cars may be away for the winter this is your chance to prove that you still have what it takes to be a winner. Endurance Karting for Charity with 25 mins of qualifying followed by 2½ hours of non stop racing to see which team of 5 drivers can cover the most laps in the time. The track events have always proved popular, especially as there are always members of the MSCC (& often the Marlin Sports Car race team) on hand, to give guidance and help in setting up your car and also to offer suggestions on driving technique. Thus enabling you to get the best driving experience whilst out on the track.

Marlin Racing – Castle Combe Special GT Championship

Whilst most of us have been tucked up in the warm and dry over the winter Mark has been busy rebuilding and preparing the race cars for 2010 (See the events page for list of dates). Why not get along to one of the meetings where you can join the pit crew or cheer for the Marlin factory team of Mark, Dylan & Heath as they dice with the Ferrari 360 Challenge race cars.  Also if you speak really nicely to Terry she may even be able to send you some free tickets, just don’t tell her I told you.

 I hope that this will give you plenty to do during 2010 with your Marlins.  I know that now I have converted my 5EXi to Honda power, along with the race proven full aero pack, mine will be at as many track days and shows as I can get to.  Feel free to share your Marlin experience with friends, family and strangers but above all make sure you have lots of fun.  Don’t forget to renew your membership of the MSCC by sending Terry a cheque for £10 to partake in as many of the events above as you wish.  I look forward to seeing you all again at some of the events above in 2010.
