The no-compromise 5EXi trackday version
If you’re looking for a more specialist trackday device, Marlin can again supply the goods. with their stripped-down trackday version, which dumps unnecessary luxuries like interior trim (and the windscreen, if you can handle it) and concentrates on safety equipment and ways of taking those vital tenths off your lap times.
Like all 5EXis, the trackday version is available fully-built or in component form for self-assembly.

5EXi race cars
You need only look at our factory race team, which regularly gives Porches and Ferraris a run for their money, to see what’s possible with a Marlin 5EXi.
There are a number of ways you can get behind the wheel of a 5EXi race car:

You build it…
We provide a lightweight race version of the component-form 5EXi, and you put it together. As with all self-assembly versions, you can do as much, or as little, of the work as you want. We can also help with competitively-priced race equipment, from suppliers who have worked with us to develop our own race cars.

We build it…
After talking through what you want, to meet race regs and your pocket, we put together and deliver a hand-built race car to your exact requirements.

What it costs…
To give you some idea of cost, these prices apply to a race-spec 5EXi:
• Self-assembly 5EXi race car - from £14,500+VAT, subject to specification
• New 2008 5EXi factory-built race car - from £18,000+VAT, subject to specification
• Existing 2007 5EXi factory-built race car – POA
The capital cost of the race car can be spread over two years, with a residual value depending on the condition of the car at the end of the second season.

We build it – and provide back-up
This is unique and exciting stuff. The Marlin Race Support Package means we supply the car, maintain it and transport it to the meetings, where we offer full support and back-up.
So, like one of the Marlin factory team drivers, Dylan Popovic, you just turn up, race and drive home again. All the excitement of racing, with none of the hassle.
Prices start at just £2,000 a season – and the same support packages are available to anyone racing in any race series at Castle Combe circuit.
