After considerable soul-searching, I’ve decided the time is right for someone new to take on the company that Mark and I have nurtured for the last 26 years. What a fantastic journey we’ve been on, but with Mark’s passing in 2014 and, despite the wonderful support from both Kevin and Nick in the workshop, I now feel the time seems right to hand over the reins to someone new, who will have the motivation to drive the company onto new highs and see it flourish over the coming decades.

Marlin could be available as a whole, or I’m open to the idea of the EXi being sold separately. Marlin Sportscars will be sold with the rights to not only the Sportster, but also our earlier model, the Cabrio. The current BMW diesel powered demo car will also go with this sale, so any new owner will be able to hit the ground running.
While we find a new owner for the business, we will obviously be completing all outstanding orders and continuing to support customers and potential customers with their builds and the supply of parts.
May I take this opportunity to thank all our wonderful customers, so many of whom have become firm friends over the years. It has been mine and Mark’s privilege to have met you all and help you achieve your dream of building and owing your own Marlin.
